Cereal Milk Infused Latte

When you are rushing to work, do you ever think, "I would love to spend one day as a kid again." This drink can't make your bills or responsibilities disappear, but every sip will remind you of those Saturday morning cartoons and cereal breakfasts days of yesteryear.

What you need

1. Your favorite sugary cereal, we are going with lucky charms.

2. A shot of espresso

3. Whole Milk or your favorite substitute

4. Ice for a cold latte.

Getting Started!

We start this recpie by opening your cereal, place your cereal of choice in a baking pan. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. When ready, place your cereal in the oven for 5 mins. Keep an eye on your cereal as heat in ovens vary. As long as the cereal is golden you are good to go!

Next, we place the cereal in bowl or cup, we are using our French press to infuse the milk. (for a single cup, simply use 8 ounces of whole milk or your preferred substitute) This will take some time, the longer you wait the more cereal flavor your milk will have. Twenty minutes is what we used. When you are ready, remove the cereal with a strainer or pour the milk out using the French press.

Finally you get your espresso and cup of ice. Pour the infused milk over the ice, add the shot of espresso and if you truly want to feel like a kid, add a few lucky charms to the top for a blast from the past.

Enjoy!
