Commissions of my Ape
by ZombieApe
One of the reasons why we love NFTs is because you get to see the work of many talented artists from around the world that otherwise you would never see. You can interact with the artist on social media (mainly Twitter) and even become friends with them. If you are lucky, you can catch an artist with time on their hands and they might be able to create a piece just for you. The price varies between artists but owning an art piece that was made for you is priceless. The question is what do you want created? Well it was easy for me, have these artists create an image of my Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT in their style.

In the NFT world, Twitter is your information site, and your profile picture is your identity. Having a certain NFT as your profile picture can give you instant credibility and hundreds of followers in a matter of minutes. So creating a commission of my ape is a way to keep my ape but change it up a little bit with work of amazing artists. Here are some of the commissions I have and the artists the created them.

Bills Bills Bills by ClaireSalvo
We were lucky enough to commission this piece as she was working on her Bills Bills Bills set. Her work is clearly amazing as she mastered several different techniques from ballpoint on paper, to Oil paintings to name a few.

Bored Ape Remix by Dariodesiena
This was my first commission piece. At first we didn't know the artist but seen the work he was doing for other bored ape owners. His work is fun and trippy, colorful but still respectful to the original look. He was building his base and creating a collector base, his fun colorful work can be found in his on going series here.
Mutant Ape by Zuthix
With this commission we wanted a darker more zombie version of the ape so we went with the mutant version. It came out perfect, a realistic digital painting is how we see it. In recent conversation with the Zuthix, I found out commissions are currently available, check out more here.
Derivatives by Yamin
Our most recent commission was created two weeks ago by a new artist (Yamin). What I really like about this artist was that they took the time to ask a few questions and incorporated it to the work. In this case, my quote; "It cost zero to be a good person."
